Chapter 81
Ning Yuxi snapped back to reality from the sudden daze of being hit, his expression twisted with pain as he glared at the person before him. "Do you fucking know who I am? How dare you hit me?"
"Aren't you that... person who knows Ning Manqing... Fuck, let go of me! If you dare hit me, just wait to die!"
Ning Yuxi thought Li Chu looked somewhat familiar. After staring for over ten seconds, he realized—wasn't this the Omega female star he'd heard about before?
Someone associated with Ning Manqing had hit him, which simply enraged him.
Ning Yuxi struggled violently, forcing Li Chu to exert more effort to hold him down.
Although Ning Yuxi was male, as Omegas for their primary gender, their strength seemed roughly equal, and Ning Yuxi actually seemed weaker than her.
Ning Yuxi was currently lying on the floor near the restroom sinks. He had been suddenly attacked, and his upper body was pinned down. While waiting for a response from the other side, Li Chu didn't stay idle.
She took a few photos of Ning Yuxi's current state and looked through the contents of his phone.
Ning Yuxi had a hidden photo album. Li Chu again used his face to unlock it and saw many unsightly things.
This wasn't the first time these people had done such disgusting things. Backed by capital, they treated people like playthings. This was a gray area of the industry. Although Li Chu knew about it, she had never directly confronted it before, and looking at it made her feel nauseous.
She saved some of the evidence, deleted everything deletable inside, formatted Ning Yuxi's phone, threw it into the toilet, and pressed the flush button.
Ning Yuxi's glare could kill. Li Chu's shoe tip rested on his stomach, her expression cold and grim.
Li Chu wasn't acting impulsively; she was actually unprecedentedly calm.
It was impossible to say she wasn't worried about Ning Yuxi going crazy and retaliating. But from her omniscient perspective, she knew what kind of person he was: petty and vindictive. If someone accidentally hurt him even a little, he could ruin their family and cause their death.
Either way, she would have to face his retaliation, so she might as well be more ruthless before his counterattack arrived.
A response came from the other end of the phone. Ning Manqing said: "They've located the place. Mu Xiao is already on his way."
"I hope he makes it in time."
