BBQT - Chapter 7

Chapter 7

“I don’t think we have any need to talk alone, do we? If you have something to say, say it directly. Your Yingying is still waiting for you to comfort her.”

Gu Ting, whose expression had been gloomy, miraculously softened quite a bit after hearing Qiu Chi’s words.

Then, he said something that left Qiu Chi so stunned, she punched him.

“Are you jealous? I just see Yingying as a little sister…”

Before he could finish, Qiu Chi couldn’t take it anymore and threw a punch straight at him.

She hadn’t originally planned to add color to Gu Ting’s face so directly, but who would have thought Gu Ting would be so punchable?

Under Lu Mingxuan’s shocked gaze, Qiu Chi once again beat Gu Ting until his face was black and blue before speaking. “Don’t you fucking disgust me.”

“If you disgust me again, I’ll beat you every time I see you!”

After speaking, Qiu Chi turned and left. But Gu Ting stubbornly climbed up from the ground and shouted at her departing back, “Su An'an, no matter what, we’re engaged. You’d better stay away from other men!”

Qiu Chi left without breaking her stride.

Once they were out of the Gu residence, Lu Mingxuan stopped, his gaze on Qiu Chi still unable to hide his shock, his feelings exceptionally complicated. “You’re engaged to Gu Ting?”

After a pause, he added, “So your fighting ability really wasn’t just talk…”

The thought of Gu Ting, a man over 1.8 meters tall, being pinned down and beaten by Qiu Chi, a young woman of 1.6 meters, with absolutely no power to fight back, made Lu Mingxuan’s feelings complicated.

Not only that, but just watching Gu Ting get beaten made him feel sore all over.

Qiu Chi glanced at him. “Mind your own business, and don’t get any ideas you shouldn’t have.”

Lu Mingxuan fell silent.

Qiu Chi got straight into the car and said, “Take me to the film set.”

Lu Mingxuan obediently drove Qiu Chi to the set. She even made a point of getting out of the car right in front of Liu Yuer, and sure enough, she saw Liu Yuer’s resentful gaze.

Qiu Chi ignored her, walking past her directly to her usual spot.

Liu Yuer bit her lip and looked at Lu Mingxuan. “Brother Lu, why did you bring her here? Brother Lu, are you treating her as a substitute for my sister? But she only looks like my sister, she isn’t my sister. Brother Lu, you need to wake up…”

Lu Mingxuan, who had witnessed Qiu Chi beating someone up: “…”

He didn’t answer Liu Yuer’s question directly, only saying, “Don’t overthink it, and don’t provoke her. I have something to do, so I’ll be leaving now.”

Lu Mingxuan’s warning was purely out of goodwill, but to Liu Yuer’s ears, it sounded like Lu Mingxuan was fond of Qiu Chi and was telling her not to make things difficult for her. Her fists clenched instantly, and a hint of viciousness colored her eyes.

She stood with her eyes lowered for a long while before composing herself. Returning to her seat, she dismissed the people around her and said to Fang Yuming with a smile, “Don’t you like Qiu Chi? I have a way for you to get her. I wonder if you’re interested?”

Fang Yuming’s interest was immediately piqued. “Oh? What’s the plan? Tell me.”

“After we wrap up tonight, I’ll treat everyone to dinner…”

The two of them put their heads together, speaking in low voices that no one else could hear. Onlookers could only see one person with a smile on their face and the other with a look of curious interest.

It was unclear what Liu Yuer said, but Fang Yuming gave her a look of admiration. This harmonious-looking scene was naturally photographed, making it convenient to hype them as a couple later on.

But aside from Qiu Chi, no one knew what disgusting things they were discussing beneath that harmonious facade.

When they wrapped up for the evening, Liu Yuer did indeed invite everyone to dinner. Her excuse was: “These past few days, I’ve been troubling everyone so much, and I feel really bad about it. I just wanted to treat everyone to a simple meal, so please don’t refuse. Besides, we’ve been filming for so long, it’s about time the cast and crew had a get-together, right, Director?”

There was nothing wrong with what Liu Yuer said, so the director naturally had no reason to refuse. “That’s very thoughtful of you, Yuer. In that case, let’s all do her the honor.”

Since the director had spoken, Qiu Chi had no reason to refuse, which was exactly what Liu Yuer had been counting on.

A dinner party would inevitably involve drinking. Qiu Chi looked at the drink Liu Yuer handed her and shot her a glance that was not quite a smile.

Liu Yuer felt a little uneasy under her gaze. She composed herself and said, “Qiu Chi, you might not know this, but you look a lot like my older sister. Many times when I see you, I think my sister has come back. There might be some misunderstandings between us, and that’s something I’d hate to see…”

Qiu Chi took the drink from her, interrupting her sentimental speech. “Alright, I’ll drink this. You can shut up now.”

Liu Yuer didn’t mind Qiu Chi’s attitude; she just wanted to watch Qiu Chi drink it down.

Qiu Chi did as she wished, downing the drink in front of her. Seeing the flash of delight in Liu Yuer’s eyes, Qiu Chi sneered inwardly.

After returning to her seat, Liu Yuer exchanged a look with Fang Yuming and then continued toasting the others.

Qiu Chi wasn’t an important figure to begin with, so naturally, no one paid her any mind.

By the time everyone was preparing to leave after dinner, most were somewhat drunk. And Liu Yuer, who had been going around toasting everyone, was naturally even more intoxicated.

Whether she was truly drunk or just pretending was impossible to know.

The sober helped the drunk to leave, while Qiu Chi was leaning back in her chair, looking as if she were asleep. She didn’t respond when they called for her to leave.

Someone said in surprise, “Qiu Chi’s alcohol tolerance is that bad?”

Fang Yuming said, “Sister Wang and I aren’t drunk. Let’s help Qiu Chi back together.”

“Alright, then Teacher Fang and I will help Qiu Chi back.”

No one else thought anything was wrong with this. They had all seen that Fang Yuming had a favorable impression of Qiu Chi, so they could understand why he would want to help her. Plus, he had specifically asked Sister Wang to come along to avoid suspicion, so no one gave it a second thought.

After placing Qiu Chi in her hotel room, Fang Yuming said to Sister Wang, “Let’s go out and tell everyone she’s back safely.”

Sister Wang agreed and went out first. Fang Yuming followed close behind, closing the door. After informing the others, the two of them returned to their own rooms right under everyone’s noses.

Seemingly, there was nothing out of place.

In the dark hotel room, Qiu Chi opened her eyes. She got up, walked to the door, and sneered as she saw that the room key had been taken.

Of course her alcohol tolerance wasn’t bad, but even with the best tolerance, when faced with a drink that had been spiked, she couldn’t help but feel dizzy and genuinely believe she was drunk.

Liu Yuer’s plan was quite good. Unfortunately for her, the one she encountered was Qiu Chi.

Qiu Chi leaned against the wall, waiting for Fang Yuming to return.

About half an hour later, Qiu Chi heard footsteps approaching the room.

When Fang Yuming entered the room, before he could even turn on the lights, he was knocked unconscious by Qiu Chi.

Qiu Chi cracked her knuckles and proceeded to give Fang Yuming a thorough beating, specifically targeting painful spots while carefully controlling her strength so as not to leave any marks.

After beating him up, Qiu Chi dragged Fang Yuming out the door and to Liu Yuer’s room, where she knocked.

After a moment, Liu Yuer’s voice, tinged with drunkenness, sounded from inside the room. “Who is it?”

“Me.” Qiu Chi spoke in Fang Yuming’s voice, pulling him in front of her to hide herself.

Liu Yuer paused, then walked to the door and said in a low voice, “Why are you here instead of with Qiu Chi? Don’t worry, I’ve had someone take care of the surveillance cameras. Even if you take her to your own room and claim she came onto you, it’ll be fine. Just don’t forget to take a few pictures for me.”

Qiu Chi continued to speak in Fang Yuming’s voice, “I need to talk to you about something. Do you want me to say it right here in the hallway? If someone finds us, it’ll be hard for either of us to explain.”

Liu Yuer opened the door in exasperation. “You’d better have a good reason…”

But as soon as she opened the door, Qiu Chi darted inside, dragging Fang Yuming with her. Then, before Liu Yuer could react, she knocked her unconscious and kicked the door shut.

Tossing the two who had tried to harm her onto the bed, Qiu Chi expressionlessly stripped them naked, arranged them in several intimate poses, and took pictures with her phone.

Taking pictures wasn’t the end of it. After turning off the lights, Qiu Chi woke Fang Yuming up.

In the darkness, Fang Yuming woke up feeling sore all over. Before he could even grimace in pain, he felt the soft, delicate touch of someone in his arms. He froze for a moment, then remembered his objective.

But how did he… Oh, right. He remembered coming in and getting ready to do the deed. Who knew that just as he got her clothes off, she somehow woke up. He’d had a hard time subduing her, and then he felt tired and rested for a bit.

It seemed he hadn’t rested for long. He’d better take care of business first, and then take a few pictures for that vicious woman, Liu Yuer.

At that thought, Fang Yuming’s mind began to race with lust.

Qiu Chi closed her eyes and blocked her hearing to keep from being disgusted, while mentally keeping track of the time.

An hour later, she knocked Fang Yuming unconscious again. After turning on the lights and taking a few more pictures, Qiu Chi leisurely departed.

This time, Fang Yuming woke up not long after passing out.

As for what happened afterward, it was no longer Qiu Chi’s concern.
