In previous instances, things had always been urgent; never had they been able to snatch a moment of leisure like this. This was the first time Ji Ning had seen Xing Ye fight over her so openly—jealousy plain as day, jealousy stated with righteous indignation, and unexpectedly cute.

He scooped up a handful of water, wet his fingers, and reached between her legs, rubbing lightly and patiently with slow circles.
His water-slicked fingers squeezed into her slit, wiping away the juices—actually quite clean—that had been coating the soft flesh, bringing a trace of coolness to her warm lips.
