Seductive Beauty - Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Song Jinzhi used to love swimming, because she enjoyed the feeling of freedom and exhilaration in the water. In summer, any exercise made you sweat, except swimming, even if you perspired, it never felt too unpleasant. She was restless now, wanting to do something to distract herself, and naturally thought of swimming.

She found a swimsuit in the wardrobe. The style wasn't very sexy; after all, this was Gu Sijiu's home, and she couldn't be careless enough to wear something revealing to swim at an Alpha's house. Song Jinzhi changed into the suit and went downstairs, slowly submerging herself in the water. The pool water was cleaned and replaced by a device every day, so Song Jinzhi didn't worry at all about whether it was clean.

She lay on her back, casually swaying her legs and using the momentum to drift slowly through the water. Song Jinzhi emptied her mind, her consciousness drifting far away, and naturally didn't notice someone walk out of the house and stand not far off, watching her. Gu Sijiu certainly hadn't come to find Song Jinzhi of her own volition. Gu Nancheng had just called, saying her mother's birthday was in a few days and hoping she and Song Jinzhi could attend.

Hearing this, Gu Sijiu was a thousand times unwilling. She didn't want to attend this so called birthday, and had no intention of bringing Song Jinzhi along. Unfortunately, Gu Nancheng insisted repeatedly on the phone, even threatening her. Gu Sijiu couldn't defy him, so she had to take the initiative to find Song Jinzhi, planning to tell her the news and then turn around and leave. Gu Sijiu went to the room but found it empty, encountering her here at the pool instead.

Tonight's moon was full, seemingly a few shades brighter than usual, and it illuminated the person in the water with greater clarity. Song Jinzhi was like a mermaid at this moment, slowly drifting through the water, her gaze fixed absently on its surface as if pondering something. Her silky long hair was soaked, spreading across the rippling surface; her slender arms and legs swayed slowly, reflecting the moonlight with a glistening, translucent sheen.

Even without makeup, her skin still looked excellent. Instead, the unadorned look of her eyes made her seem less aloof than usual, softer and more approachable. She twisted her slender waist, her white one piece swimsuit outlining her superb figure. Gu Sijiu knew what a woman's ultimate figure looked like, like her own in her original world, and like Song Jinzhi's now.

Normally, Song Jinzhi always wrapped herself up tightly in front of her, mostly wearing business attire at work. Gu Sijiu rarely saw her dressed so sparingly. A one piece swimsuit actually tested a person's figure even more than a regular swimsuit. The tight fabric hugged her body. Her lower abdomen was firm and flat, her waist and back slim and slender, but those two full, soft mounds on her chest were so large they were impossible to ignore.

Song Jinzhi's breasts were very beautiful, large and full aside, Gu Sijiu judged their shape to be excellent as well. Now, as she swam in the water, the slightly low neckline revealed the curved cleft formed by those two soft mounds, hopelessly sexy. Gu Sijiu watched, unable to resist touching her own now flat chest, the corner of her mouth twitching involuntarily...

Perhaps sensing her presence, Song Jinzhi slowly stopped. She lifted her head from the water and leaned against the edge, looking over. Seeing Gu Sijiu at this moment was something Song Jinzhi hadn't expected either. The two were in a cold war. She knew she was the one who had made the mistake and misunderstood this person, but she couldn't bring herself to apologize. If this were before, and Gu Sijiu were here watching her swim, Song Jinzhi would certainly have made a few sarcastic remarks and then left. Now, she couldn't bring herself to say those words, so she could only quietly look at her.

"In a few days, it's my mother's birthday. Father just called and asked me to inform you, hoping you can attend that evening." Gu Sijiu's tone was very official. She stood by the poolside, looking down at Song Jinzhi, the displeasure in her eyes obvious and undisguised. Song Jinzhi raised an eyebrow and looked back. The annoyance in her heart was provoked even more intensely by Gu Sijiu's look.

"Is there anything else? If not, you can leave." Song Jinzhi couldn't help but speak. She didn't know what was wrong with her. Her usual excellent self control was always shattered when facing Gu Sijiu. It was as if, whenever she encountered her, her good upbringing and manners automatically vanished. Gu Sijiu was still angry, and hearing Song Jinzhi speak to her like this now only fueled her fury.

"Song Jinzhi, don't think I took the initiative to find you just to make up. If Father hadn't called, I wouldn't say a single word to you. You wronged me and bullied me, and you still think you're in the right?"

Gu Sijiu was so angry she crouched down, staring fixedly at Song Jinzhi and raising her voice. She felt that as long as her voice was loud, she would look very fierce. Little did she know, the way she looked now seemed in Song Jinzhi's eyes like a noisy dog, completely oblivious to its owner's troubles, coming over to bark when the owner was most vexed.

Song Jinzhi understood perfectly what Gu Sijiu was saying. She knew she had been wrong, that she had misunderstood her, and had said those words that hurt Gu Sijiu. Knowing this was precisely what infuriated Song Jinzhi, and it was because she knew her mistake but couldn't lower herself to apologize that made her so restless. Looking at the culprit responsible for her bewilderment, Gu Sijiu, still taunting her from the poolside, she couldn't help but reach out, grab her, and pull her straight into the water.

How could Gu Sijiu have expected Song Jinzhi to suddenly pull such a bratty stunt? Falling suddenly into the water, and headfirst at that, Gu Sijiu accidentally swallowed quite a bit. She quickly thrust her head up, spitting it out with a few puffs. Coming to her senses, she found that Song Jinzhi, who had pulled her in, had already gotten out of the pool and was now standing on the deck, watching her.

After doing this, Song Jinzhi also found herself baffling, having committed such a "childish" act. But seeing Gu Sijiu awkwardly spitting water in the pool, her delicate makeup ruined, her hair tangled in a mess, her irritated mood actually improved because of it. Especially now, with the other party glaring fiercely at her, the look was exactly like Hanhan when she didn't give him a bone.

"Song Jinzhi, are you sick or something? Why did you pull me in? Is there something wrong with your head?"

Gu Sijiu fumed for a long time but really couldn't find the right words to scold Song Jinzhi. She was so angry that her mind went blank, which affected her ability to curse. Watching her splash water at her from the pool, Song Jinzhi laughed and dodged backward, avoiding every splash with a hint of smugness in her heart. She looked at Gu Sijiu, who had failed to splash her and was now trying to climb out and grab her, and quickly ran a few steps further away, casually grabbing a towel from a nearby chair to dry her hair.

Gu Sijiu stood dumbly in the pool, looking at Song Jinzhi's appearance at this moment. She wore only a one piece swimsuit, revealing those long, pale, straight legs entirely. Her superb proportions made Song Jinzhi's legs look incredibly beautiful. Especially from the side, she indeed had a devilishly curvaceous figure. After drying her hair, she shook her head cheerfully at Gu Sijiu and even smiled.

This was the first time Gu Sijiu had seen Song Jinzhi smile at her. Different from the pretense before, this was Song Jinzhi genuinely laughing at her. Watching her turn and leave, Gu Sijiu suddenly thought that Song Jinzhi looked really beautiful when she smiled. It would be nice if she smiled more often. Realizing what she was thinking, Gu Sijiu rubbed her long hair and got out of the pool with disgust.

She was very angry and felt she couldn't let it end like this. That damn woman Song Jinzhi had bullied her, pulled her into the water, and then laughed at her. If Gu Sijiu could swallow this anger, she wouldn't be called Gu Sijiu. Thinking this, Gu Sijiu dried herself, changed into different clothes, and walked toward Song Jinzhi's room, her slippers pattering.

She wanted to confront this crazy woman Song Jinzhi and ideally get some payback. But when she reached the door and tried to open it, she found it locked. Not just one lock, but the encrypted electronic lock inside was locked as well, clearly meant to keep her out. Gu Sijiu ground her teeth in fury. She pounded hard on the door a few times before turning away in frustration.

Song Jinzhi was in her room. Although she couldn't see Gu Sijiu's expression, she could guess how utterly exasperated the person looked right now. Thinking of that scene, Song Jinzhi couldn't help but chuckle softly, and with it, the pent up irritability of the past two days seemed to vanish without a trace after tonight's unexpected incident. Song Jinzhi was completely unaware that she hadn't laughed this happily in half a year.
