She thought of another way.
She had studied computer science before, and with the advanced technology of the previous world, her current proficiency with computers was likely much higher than the standard in this world.
Perhaps she could find some work as a hacker.
No sooner said than done. Qiu Chi stopped gaming and started searching for hacker forums. Eventually, she actually found one.
Making money here was much faster than playing games.

She glanced at the time. It was only a little past midnight; she could still earn more.

Although the big payment hadn't arrived yet, she was no longer short on cash.
Qiu Chi went to find Fu Nanjue's mortal enemy, Fu Yi.
Fu Yi was the illegitimate son of the Fu family, locked in a life-or-death struggle with Fu Nanjue. The reason Ye Tiantian had found an unconscious Fu Nanjue was because he had been schemed against that day.
In the original plot, Fu Yi was a significant character, somewhat similar to Jian Qiu from the last world.
Knowing that Fu Nanjue liked Ye Tiantian, he had tried to make her fall for him instead. However, upon learning that she had a childhood sweetheart, he gave up on that idea and began secretly helping the two of them escape.
He never intended for them to actually get away; it was all just to provoke Fu Nanjue.
But in the end, Fu Yi still failed. After all, Fu Nanjue was the male lead of this world.
Even though Fu Nanjue turned himself in at the end, Fu Yi didn't get a good ending either.
Qiu Chi sought out Fu Yi, ultimately, to get revenge on Fu Nanjue.

Except this time, the one in control would not be Fu Nanjue.
Fu Yi was very surprised to see Qiu Chi. Naturally, he was the first to investigate anyone who appeared by Fu Nanjue's side.

He smiled and began, “Miss Ye, I wonder what business brings you to me?”
Qiu Chi nodded. “I have business. You want to take over the Fu family. I can help you.”
Fu Yi let out a soft laugh. “Miss Ye, you're telling a joke that leaves me at a loss for words.”
Fu Yi had investigated Ye Tiantian, so naturally, he didn't believe what Qiu Chi was saying.
Qiu Chi didn't waste words with him, stating directly, “If you were paying close attention to Fu Nanjue, you would know he was hospitalized yesterday.”
“I don't get involved in business matters. You and Fu Nanjue are fighting tooth and nail mainly because he's still around. But what if Fu Nanjue were to disappear?”
Only then did Fu Yi's smile fade, his expression turning serious.
“While I do wish Fu Nanjue would disappear, I will not do anything illegal, Miss Ye.”
His words were so sanctimonious; anyone who didn't know better would think Fu Yi was a truly upstanding person.
But Qiu Chi was in no mood to expose him. “Mr. Fu, you're overthinking it. You just need to tell me whether you agree or not.”
“If Mr. Fu disagrees, I can always find someone else to cooperate with. After all, there are quite a few people who would like to swallow the Fu family whole. I imagine they would be very willing.”
At this, Fu Yi's face completely darkened, and his voice turned cold. “Are you threatening me, Miss Ye?”
Qiu Chi met his gaze without flinching. “What if I am? If you have the ability, Mr. Fu, you can threaten me back.”
Fu Yi stared at Qiu Chi for a long moment before suddenly breaking into a smile. “I never knew that Miss Ye had such courage. You seem quite different from the person I'm familiar with.”
Qiu Chi had never intended to hide her identity. “It's simple. That's because I'm not Ye Tiantian at all.”
“What are you saying, Miss Ye? If you're not Ye Tiantian, then who are you? It's impossible for two identical people to exist in this world. Even twins have their differences. Don't you agree, Miss Ye?”
Qiu Chi glanced at Fu Yi's smiling face. She didn't care what he was really thinking and only said, “That's not important. My earlier question—what have you decided, Mr. Fu?”
Fu Yi extended a hand. “It would be my honor to cooperate with Miss Ye. I just don't know what you plan to do, and what you need from me.”
Qiu Chi ignored his outstretched hand. “You need to provide a villa. It doesn't matter if it's under your name or Fu Nanjue's.”
His hand having been ignored, Fu Yi felt no awkwardness. He retracted it with an unchanged expression and said, “Then may I ask what Miss Ye's plan is?”
“To give him a taste of what he planned to do to Ye Tiantian.”
The smile on Fu Yi's face froze for a moment before he nodded. “That's a good idea.”
