Father Ye looked up and said to the aggrieved Ye Jiaojiao, “Jiaojiao, go upstairs for now. Daddy definitely won’t let our family go bankrupt.”
“Okay, I believe in Daddy.”
Ye Jiaojiao didn’t understand anything, so she naturally took her father’s words at face value and obediently went upstairs.
Mother Ye, however, was alarmed and uncertain. “Lao Ye, you’re not thinking of…”
