A year had passed from the time she left the Ancient Small World to when she entered the Ghost World, which was a year earlier than when Yi Luo had arrived.
Despite arriving early, Lou Ye was still being bullied.
When Qiu Chi saw Lou Ye, the scene was much the same as when Yi Luo had found him: he was being bullied by a group of children.
The difference was that Yi Luo could only mutter to herself, scolding the children or pitying Lou Ye.
Qiu Chi, however, had the leisure to observe.
Although Lou Ye was the one being bullied now, judging by his gloomy eyes, it was clear that even without anyone’s intervention, he would get his revenge on this group sooner or later.
After watching for a moment, Qiu Chi picked up some nearby stones and gently tossed them at the children who were hitting him.
It was a very light toss; she was afraid that with slightly more force, she might kill them.

They looked around, but no one was there.

Seeing no one, they immediately had a guess. One of the children began chanting, trying to open his Yin Yang Eyes to see where the ghost was.

No one could see her except for Lou Ye.
Qiu Chi continued to toss small stones at them, drifting about as she did.
They didn’t know her exact location, nor could they see her.
They were just children, after all. When they still couldn’t see the ghost even after trying to open their Yin Yang Eyes, they immediately grew frightened and ran away crying.
Only then did Qiu Chi stop. She drifted in front of Lou Ye and said, “Get up.”
Lou Ye struggled to his feet. Though young, his gaze was already heavy and dark.
He stared at Qiu Chi for a long moment before asking, “Who are you? Why did you help me? Why couldn’t they see you?”
Those kids were all more talented than him, yet none of them could see her. Only he could. Did that mean he wasn’t the good-for-nothing they claimed he was?
“You don’t need to know who I am, or anything else. Let me ask you, do you want to become powerful?”
Qiu Chi wasn’t like Yi Luo, who would try to make friends right away.
She was here with the mentality of raising a child.
Raise him up, then kill him.
Sigh. They were all going to die anyway. They might as well live a glorious and unrestrained life before that.
Though Lou Ye was young, he knew that good things didn’t just fall from the sky. Hearing Qiu Chi’s offer, he didn’t answer excitedly. Instead, he asked, “What’s your objective?”
“I do have an objective, but you don’t need to worry about it for now. After all, you still have a good eight or nine years to live. Just tell me, do you want to become powerful?”

Qiu Chi nodded. “Of course.”
In these three small worlds, each of the youths had a wish they wanted to fulfill. To make them die willingly, Qiu Chi didn’t mind lending them a hand. After all, she wasn’t one to kill the innocent indiscriminately.
Seeing Qiu Chi nod, Lou Ye led her to the dilapidated house where he lived.
Then he asked, “But my talent is very ordinary. Are you sure you can help me become powerful?”
“Of course. If you don’t have the talent for cultivation and ghost-catching, you can learn something else, like magic from the Magic World or mechas from the Mecha World. It all depends on what you want to learn.”
In the end, Lou Ye chose magic.
After making his choice, he fell silent for a moment before asking, “Can you tell me about the world outside?”
